Lunch on my day off

Having lunch at The Old Oak today to celebrate a rare event of us both
having a day off at the same time.
29*C today so we both had a ploughmans lunch

This is Verity's special cat Charlie. He is rather special though,
blind in one eye, deaf in the opposite ear and still thinks he's
kitten sized. I love him - special cat

A little bit of bar comparison

I'm moonlighting tonight, one shift at Hudson's. I'm the only person
working so hoping for a relatively quite night.
Empty at the moment as you can see.

Split shifts...

The best thing about working at two bars is when you're doing a split
at one, you can have your break at another. A mental work weekend this
week all in the name of saving up for charlie's next 'operation

I think I have a tendency to make things difficult for myself...

Well after my last post I thought I would expand on my metaphorical "work in progress" sign whilst also brushing up on a bit of CSS. I know it looks awful but I didn't want the same background as my aunt Angela :p

What's this I read before me?

Not too much time for tinkering this evening, I've already spent far too long faffing about with CSS that was never going to all match up, but I'm sure I'll find a nice template I can 'make my own' in due course.

I have a busy weekend ahead of me but will give this a thorough going over in the beginning of next week.

Ideally this will become the 'Sam and Verity' blog after I'm happy taking down the metaphorical 'Work in progress' sign and get my head around the best way to use it.
